Islington Flyweight, Scott Smart overcame tough resistance to register a majority decision over Cheetah’s ABC’s Luke Hewitt, at the Holiday Inn, Brighton on Friday 18th May.Smart, representing the London North West Devision, found the going a little tough in opening round as Hewitt, smothered any work that Smart was trying to do. In the second, Smart scored well with punches to the body of Hewitt, but Smart couldn’t keep up the pressure whenever he had his man in trouble. The final round saw both boxers go for broke, as the verdict was still up for grabs. The cleaner punches from Smart was just about enough for him to take a tight, majority decision.
