Islington’s Stephanie Louis-Fernand continues to impress, as she romped to victory in some style on the first ever ‘All Female show’ at Gosport ABC’s gym in Hampshire (Sunday 13th May).
A historic afternoon, saw no fewer than 17 female bouts, with London putting together a strong team of 7, all of whom emerged victorious.
Islington’s Loius-Fernand, came up against Gosport’s Holly Keats, and right from the opening bell, there looked to be only one winner. Each time Louis-Fernand landed, her opponent looked in all sorts of trouble. A long spearing jab from Louis-Fernand caused bruising to the cheek of Keats, who somehow managed to survive the opening round. However, the doctor at ringside inspected the injury and rightly called a halt.
